The consulting company WIN Ltd had an impactful presence during the 4th Greek-German Food Forum on 22nd and 23rd of May in Kavala. Thirty Greek food and beverage companies participated in the Forum, as well as agricultural cooperatives, while the Counselor of the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mr. Theofanis Georgopoulos, the General Consul of the General Consul of Germany in Greece, Mr. Walter Stechel, and many other prominent representatives of Greek and German companies were also present.
During the first day of the conference, General Manager of WIN, Mr. Alexandros Arampatzis, discussed, among others, the extroversion possibilities that the European Union offers to producers and processors of agricultural products through the exploitation of financial tools to promote their products, both in the European market and In Third Countries.
More specifically, he referred to the “Enjoy it’s from Europe” initiative and the opportunities given through it. As he highlighted “Today more than ever, extroversion is a “sine qua non” for Greek businesses and cooperatives. The excellent quality of our products is not enough unless the necessary actions are taken in order to promote them. “
The General Director of the Greek-German Chamber Mr. Thanassis Kelemis, highlighted that “the agricultural products sector is one of the main pillars of the Greek economy” and pointed out that “9.6% of all Greek exports are directed to Germany, while 16,8% of annually Greek imports comes from Germany”, emphasizing on the wide scope for the development of bilateral trade relations among the two countries.
The Forum was completed on May 23rd, leaving the best impressions on participating companies and organizations.
