Alexandros Arampatzis is the Founder and General Director of WIN Development Consultants, a company he established in 2008 with the aim of bridging strategy and implementation across both public and private sectors. With more than twenty years of professional experience in European and international markets, he has consistently led WIN with a results-driven approach focused on business transformation, access to funding and international expansion.

His academic background includes a Law degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, followed by two Master’s degrees from the United Kingdom—one in International Journalism and Global Media from Cardiff University and another in Digital Media Strategy and Communication Models from City University of London, completed through a UK Government scholarship and achieved with distinction. His PhD thesis involves the business models behind news websites. This multidisciplinary education enables him to operate at the intersection of policy, strategic communication and innovation.

Prior to founding WIN, Alexandros worked with leading international media institutions such as the BBC, The Economist and The Guardian, where he specialized in impact-driven communication and the shaping of their business models in a shifting digital economy. His experience in international journalism shaped a deep understanding of how narrative and public trust influence strategic positioning—an insight that he later applied to government programs, funding communication, and policy initiatives.

At WIN, he combines strategic advisory services with practical implementation. He has led complex consulting projects in a wide range of fields, including European Territorial Cooperation, export development in agri-food and tourism, regional innovation, cross-border investment and smart governance. His teams have delivered multimillion-euro projects funded through Horizon Europe, Interreg and national mechanisms, ensuring that each initiative meets rigorous technical, administrative and strategic benchmarks.

Alexandros is a fellow of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of the U.S. Department of State and he has received an honorary scholarship from the Propontis Foundation, distinctions that reflect his commitment to public diplomacy and institutional development. His academic contributions include teaching roles at the University of Liverpool and Westminster University, where he lectured on digital transformation, public communication and strategic media.

Under his leadership WIN has become a trusted consulting partner to numerous government ministries, regional authorities, and European institutions. The firm’s portfolio includes collaborations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Rural Development, the majority of the Greek Regional governments, and handful of local municipalities, Enterprise Greece, the OECD, and various EU-funded consortia across Southern and Eastern Europe.

Widely respected for his clarity, precision, and executional discipline, Alexandros brings a leadership style defined by measurable outcomes and long-term strategic vision. His work continues to shape regional development, institutional reform, and innovation-led growth across multiple sectors.
